Здравейте! I thought I’ll start with this, considering I’m originally from Bulgaria (born and bred, kind of thing). It means ‘Hello’, it looks like it starts with the number 3 but no, it’s a ‘Z’ so Zdraveite, you can try pronouncing that. Hello to you all who have found themselves in my first blog post! I was contemplating this for quite some time and finally bit the bullet. By the way, Bulgaria, yes, it’s a lovely piece of land in Eastern Europe, but I’ll discuss my homeland in some future posts.
For those who know me better than others, it would be no surprise that for the past, let’s say 5,6 years I have been obsessed with cars and they’ve shaped up as a strong hobby of mine. I call myself a vivid car enthusiast. The word ‘vivid’ usually associates with colours and saturation of such, but I give it another meaning here. It sounds like a much sexier version of ‘strong’. Moving on, I don’t consider myself as an extremely social person, I much prefer spending time with a small group of people, or A person. That’s just who I am. So, going back to cars, I love spending time on my own with those piles of metal. The emotional charge I get from them is utterly addictive and quite frankly I just can’t stop. It’s like looking at a child jumping around on a bouncy castle, tirelessly for 2 hours straight. The smell of burnt petrol and hot brakes on a twisty silky-smooth mountain road is what gets my heart racing, with some goose bumps when you hit those G forces. Add a touch of pops and bangs from the exhaust on the overrun, echoing away in the forest and you get the final ingredient in this recipe. Now, if you are still reading this it means you understand what I’m talking about and I promise there will be more of it. This plethora of emotions and feelings could act as a perfect solution to a disappointing day, stress relief or just an unnecessary burn of fuel. For me though, this is a way of living and at least for now I cannot substitute it for anything else.

D2 France
Shall I tell you a bit about my car? Why not. I drive a 2004 Renault Megane Renaultsport 225, I know, they like their long names. It has been tastefully modified and it runs safe 245bhp from its 2 litre, 4 cylinder turbocharged engine, delivering that power through a 6-speed manual transmission to its front wheels. This is French piece of engineering and to everyone that has experienced their cars, you would know that they could entertain you as much as they can make you want to rip your skin off and turn your life into hell. And this is why I love them. The way they design a chassis is just pure art. I will say it now, I don’t think any other country makes cars at this price point that give that much sense of occasion! The smiles per gallon levels are off the roof and French performance cars are for people who appreciate the basics of driving.

Exploring new places excites me even further and I am always in the search of the next stretch of great tarmac that I haven’t driven yet. As beautiful as precious UK is, during the summer of 2019 I decided to take the plunge and go on a road trip across Europe. When an idea for adventure comes into my mind I get so much into it that the only thing, which could stop me from making it reality is.. absolutely nothing. Having a French car meant I had to devote a large portion of this trip to France, which proved to be an expensive but thoroughly delightful experience. In my next post I will be discussing my experiences during the 2,188 mile journey!
Chao.

Well done Veni! I am truly happy for you and the birth of your new blog! I hope this event will mark a new chapter in your life and more importantly, will help you embrace a great, yet little known, side of yours. Sending lots of love and tailwinds ♥️
